Dental Staff

Dr. Solhjoo received his D.M.D. degree from the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine in 1997.

During his years of practice, Dr. Solhjoo has gained experience in adhesive dentistry, implant surgery, aesthetic dentistry, periodontics, and endodontics. His dedication to excellent quality care and continuing his education exemplifies his mission to provide the best possible care for his patients.

Dr. Solhjoo is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Greater Waterbury Dental Society.

His passion to further his education persisted when completed his F.A.G.D., Fellowship of the American Academy of General Dentistry in 2013. 

The award is presented to dentists who work to provide the highest quality of dental care by keeping up with new happenings in their profession.

He completed 500 hours of continuous dental education, passed a comprehensive exam, and fulfilled three years of continuous membership with the academy to keep up with current trends.

In addition to spending time with his wife, 2 daughters, and granddaughter, Dr. Solhjoo also enjoys traveling, fishing, and playing golf. From coaching both his daughter’s youth soccer team and attending their numerous sporting events, his daughters now have pursued higher education. 

I received my Dental Hygiene degree from the University of New Haven. I have helped meet our patient’s dental hygiene needs since 2001. I work very hard to make our patients feel comfortable while giving them the best care possible. My favorite part of my job is making our patients feel happy and encouraging them to keep their smiles healthy. I am anesthesia trained and enjoy continuing education. 

When I am not at work, I love spending time with my husband Jaime and two children, Nicole and Jason. I enjoy reading, cooking, photography, and vacationing at the beach.

I’ve enjoyed being a registered Dental Hygienist since graduating from Tunxis Community College in 1998. Over the years, it’s been such a pleasure to help my patients with all aspects of their dental needs.

In my free time, I enjoy gardening, reading, and spending time camping with my husband, two daughters, and my golden retriever.

I received my Dental Hygiene degree from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport. I have enjoyed being a Dental Hygienist in Dr. Solhjoo’s office since 2011. We all get along so well and sincerely love caring for our patients’ oral health needs. My patients well being is my top priority.  

In my free time I love to run, travel with my son, Trevor, to his baseball games and visit my son, Kyle, in New York City.

I began working in the dental field in 2012, my main experience is with scheduling and insurance-related tasks. I am CPR, Medical Billing, and Coding certified, as well as a Certified Medical Assistant. My goal in this position is to facilitate your experience by assisting your needs in the best way that I can. I enjoy knowing that I have made someone's dental journey a pleasant one.

When I am not at work, I love spending time with my family. I enjoy reading, spending time at the beach, and who doesn't love a nice vacation.
