Meet Our Doctor

  • Dr. John Adams

    Dr. John Adams, a Kansas native, grew up in Wichita. Dr. Adams attended East High School in Wichita, graduating in 1965 at the age of 16. He finished high school a year early and went to Wichita State University where he obtained a BS in Biology in 1969, with minors in Chemistry and History. He met his wife Sherilyn in French class at Wichita State and they married in 1969. He was working on a MS in Microbiology and teaching laboratory microbiology to dental hygienists and nursing students until he was accepted at UMKC dental school and began studies to become a dentist at UMKC in 1971.
