Urgent care facilities, while convenient in some ways, can be very busy and have long wait times. Same-day treatment
In general, the same sort of ailments that are treated at urgent care centers are treated during same day sick appointments at our office. Strep throat and ear infections, for example, can be examined, diagnosed, and treated in-office. We also offer flu testing, treatment of minor injuries, and so on. However, true emergencies such as severe bleeding, uncontrolled vomiting, or unresponsiveness should always be seen in the emergency department of a hospital.
