Our practice’s philosophy has been for over 37 years that if a child is sick that a doctor should see them the very same day. You shouldn’t have to wait for an appointment and you most certainly shouldn’t have to visit an expensive urgent care clinic or ER if you don’t have to. We’ve been providing urgent and same-day sick appointments for children well before urgent care was even available.
No matter whether your child has a high fever, a stomach bug or an ear infection, we know that you want to get your child the medication and care they need so they can feel better quickly. We know that sickness can strike at any time, which is why our practice is also open on Saturdays and our doctors are on call 24/7. Knowing that your pediatrician is only a phone call away can often be a serious comfort for a parent, especially when illness strikes.
Our office is also divided into two sections: a well and a sick side, which ensures that kids coming in for routine checkups aren’t exposed to germs that could get them sick. Furthermore, it also protects sick children, whose immune systems are already down, from getting worse. We treat our patients like family, so you will never feel like just another number with us.

Same-day sick appointments are designed to give your child the immediate care they need from a qualified and caring medical professional; however, this is specifically designed for non-life threatening conditions and non-emergencies. Any severe conditions requiring emergency medical care should be treated by a local hospital.
