Staff

Dr. David Petersen was raised in Westminster, California where he graduated from La Quinta High School.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Brigham Young University in 1994.  Dr. Petersen earned his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in 1998 from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco.  He completed his residency training in podiatric medicine and foot surgery at the University of Southern California/L.A. County Hospital.  He followed this with a 2 year fellowship in Advanced Foot & Ankle Surgery in Irvine, California. 

Dr. Petersen has practiced in Orange County and Los Angeles since 1998 and has been associated with the American, California, and Orange County Chapters of Podiatric Medical Associations.  He is an Eagle Scout and loves playing basketball, soccer, and beach volleyball.  He has coached soccer in AYSO, AYSO Extra and the Elite signature soccer leagues over the past 14 + years.  He also enjoys coaching his son and friends for the past 6 seasons in NJB basketball in Ladera Ranch.  He also enjoys playing the piano and organ.  He and his wife have four children.
