About Us

At Maryland Children Health Center, our team consists of experienced, compassionate pediatricians and friendly, nurturing staff members who take pride in giving our young patients the personalized pediatric care that they deserve.

We understand that you have a choice of pediatricians in the Glenn Dale area, and we appreciate your consideration. We can assure you that you'll feel confident in our ability to meet all of your expectations.

All of our pediatricians are highly educated professionals who have undergone rigorous academic and clinical training in pediatrics. We maintain a high level of expertise through continuing education in order to provide the most up-to-date care for the young patients we are privileged to serve.

Maryland Children Health Center believes in a team approach to your child's health and well-being, so all of our doctors collaborate with parents to provide the highest level of care. We appreciate the opportunity to care for your child and pride ourselves on making pediatric care a pleasant experience for all of our patients.

Our Providers

  • Dr. Mary Ogunsanya

    Dr. Mary Ogunsanya is a board certified pediatrician who in 2003 founded the Maryland Children Health Center (MCHC). She received her degree in Nigeria where she worked as a Family Practitioner for 4 yrs before relocating to the United States for post graduate studies. She completed her pediatric residency training at Harlem Hospital Center which is affiliated with Columbia Hospital in New York.

    She has since worked in several locations; urgent care settings, in and outpatient facilities, not to exclude Bowie Health Center, Cignet Health Center, Providence Hospital, Civista Medical Center, and Prince George's Hospital. She is also a member of the Children National Medical Center Physician’s Network.

    She treats all of her patient’s with excellent care like her own family. Also, at MCHC she teaches Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner students from all over the country. Dr Ogunsanya is blessed with a loving husband and 4 children.

  • Lola Olasewere

    Lola Olasewere is a board certified Physician Assistant who graduated from Howard University with honors. She is experienced in family medicine, emergency medicine, pediatrics, and is currently enrolled in a Public Health PhD program. She is married with children, and enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family.

  • Danielle Telesford

    Danielle Telesford is a board certified Physician Assistant. She attended Howard University where she received her Bachelor’s degree. She then went on to receive her Master’s degree at the University of Nebraska. She is experienced in family medicine, emergency medicine, and pediatrics. She grew up in Clinton, Maryland, and is the mother of one son. During her free time she enjoys traveling and swimming.
