The Providers at High Point Pediatrics specialize in the care of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults into their early 20’s. We provide comprehensive Well Care (sometimes called check-ups), health maintenance, and child safety.
In addition, we provide care in the diagnostic and management of pediatrics illnesses. Our providers work closely with specialists in our community. In the event your child requires more specialized care, we will refer them to speciality doctors in the area.

After Hours Care
If you have an emergency or require medical advice after office hours, you may reach the doctor on call by calling the office number, 336-889-6564, and following the directions on the answering service, or by calling (888) 413-3357.
Autism Screening
Our providers complete an autism screening at your child’s 18 month and 2 year old Well Care Exam. Parents are asked to complete a questionnaire to help identify children who are at risk for autism. These forms are available for you to print off and bring to your appointment.

Behavioral/ADHD Evaluations
Behavioral, emotional, and educational issues are complex and may be difficult to identify. Our providers conduct basic evaluations to help identify signs of these issues. Our providers will provide as much help as possible within limits, however, if we feel your child needs additional care, we will provide you information for specialist in the area. You may also call your insurance company for a list of specialist who are covered on your plan.
Circumcisions
We have two providers who are trained to perform circumcisions for newborns. If you wish to have your son circumcised, please let our office know during your first appointment. If you have any questions, please speak with one of our providers.
Fluoride Varnish
Fluoride Varnish is a topical fluoride used to prevent tooth decay in children 3 years and younger. It is covered by NC Medicaid and MOST commercial insurances. Please be sure to verify with your insurance carrier before you request this for your child. If you are interested in Fluoride Varnish, please ask one of our providers.
Flu Clinics and Vaccine Information
Each year, High Point Pediatrics offers a number of Flu Clinics. When dates for the flu clinics are available, they will be posted on the Flu Clinics page of our website.

We are happy to provide the flu vaccine to all of our patients. Flu shots are typically covered by insurance. For patients who have insurance we will bill your insurance. For our patients that do no have insurance, self pay discounted rates will be offered.
