AVOID NAIL POLISH IN WINTER
posted: Dec. 27, 2018.
Podiatrist Margaret Dabbs says winter is a good time to give your toes a breather and remove all nail polish. "The intensity of the varnish color and the chemicals in it can be very dehydrating for nails," says Dabbs.

"This can cause ridging, scaling, brittleness, discoloration, and white flecks. Polish-free days give nails time to breathe, recover, and rehydrate naturally." Margaret recommends filing dry skin once a week and using a moisturizing lotion on your feet.
