ACCORDING TO PODIATRIST, DR.ANA URUKALO, THE MOST COMMON RUNNING INJURIES ARE OF THE OVERUSE TYPE. COMMON CONDITIONS INCLUDE PLANTAR FASCIITIS, TENDONITIS, CAPSULITIS, LIGAMENT INJURIES, SPRAINS, STRAINS AND STRESS FRACTURES. PREVENTION IS A MENTAL ATTITUDE. IT MEANS NOT TRYING TO DO TOO MUCH, TOO SOON. TRY TO PACE YOURSELF, RESPECTING THE FACT THAT SOME DAYS ARE BETTER THAN OTHERS.
