Dr. Joseph Gorz

Dr. Joseph (Joe) Gorz is a board-certified family practice physician. His practice is Neighborhood Primary Care and is located in Lake Orion, Michigan. Dr. Gorz has presented and published numerous research articles in the areas of pediatric nutrition and water quality. He has been involved in numerous leadership positions, including medical missions in Peru, Guatemala and Belize. Dr. Gorz is a past President of the Oakland County Osteopathic Association in 2018-2019. He received his residency training at McLaren Oakland and was the resident of the year in 2016. The Michigan Osteopathic Association named Dr. Gorz Resident of the Year in 2016.

In addition to his love of medicine, Dr. Gorz enjoys traveling with his family, skiing, fly fishing and cooking.

Sarah Fitzpatrick, CFNP

I am an AANP board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. My main goal as a nurse practitioner is community outreach, providing education and care in health promotion, preventative treatment, and management of chronic disease with a holistic approach. I feel that patients and families deserve the care of someone who will treat them like family.

I have a background as a registered nurse in both acute care and outpatient setting for 12 years. I have a strong background in traditional medicine and am constantly studying more about naturopath therapies as a way to bridge the two worlds together. I expanded my education in 2019 and became certified as a family nurse practitioner.

I am also an RYT-200 yoga therapist. I have been teaching yoga for 7 years. I am resident of Oxford and am vested in my community. My children attend Oxford schools, and my husband has been on the local fire department for over 15 years. My hobbies include family, yoga, reading, outdoor activities, gardening.
