Our History
Associates in Podiatry, Inc. was established in Springfield, Ohio in 1963 by Dr. Philip Cain, Sr. He has a long and warm relationship with the people in Springfield, OH. It was a very proud day for him when his son, Dr. Jeff Cain joined him in this profession. Father and son practiced together for over ten years before Dr. Cain Sr. decided to retire and spend time with his lovely wife of 51 years. Dr. Cain and Dr. Donald P. Lemelle were friends in Podiatry School and had a mutual respect for one another. The opportunity came about for another doctor to join the Springfield practice, Dr. LeMelle was excited to accept. As their reputation grew so did their business and soon a satellite office was open in London, Ohio. Dr. LeMelle and Dr. Cain both perform surgeries at many locations throughout the Springfield, Ohio area. Their caring demeanor and professionalism when treating patients make them one of the premier podiatrist establishments in the area. Dr.'s Cain and LeMelle are now treating second generation patients. Recent patient surveys have given both doctors very high ratings in all areas and would recommend them to their family and friends.
