Baby-Vac Nasal Aspirator

When I was browsing through the exhibits at the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference in D.C. last month, I found many interesting, novel and useful gadgets. Among them was a nasal mucus aspirator that connects to your vaccum cleaner. Wow, I thought!! Connect to a vacuum cleaner?!*#  That would certainly suck out mucus and maybe too much else as well! Could that possibly be comfortable?

The Baby-Vac was demonstrated to me and put through its paces. Believe it or not, it sucked with an extremely gentle pressure. The hardware is easily cleaned and maintained. The reviews online seem universally positive. The price is not excessive.
