Flu Deaths Report: Two Florida Children Die From Virus

The Florida Department of Health reports that two children have died from flu-related complications. One child lived in Orange County, while the other was from Pasco County. Health officials did not identify the children, nor their ages or vaccination history; however, they did say the children had other health problems. "Our hearts go out to the family and friends of these children," said Dr. Celeste Philip, deputy state secretary for health, in a statement. "Getting the flu vaccine is the best way to protect yourself and others from the flu."
In Gerogia, it is still not too late to get influenza vaccine for adults and for children.
