About this Event
We’ll talk about best practices, discuss available treatment options, and have a Q & A session for all participants.
This seminar is designed for families with newly diagnosed children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Birth to Five Early Intervention Providers. Within the last decade, there has been a rise in children diagnosed with ASD (1 out of 59 children).
With the incline of ASD diagnoses, there is an urgent need for parents and early intervention community providers to understand resources available and the importance of accessing services for newly diagnosed families. Starting early intervention services during the early years of development is crucial in order to support a child’s progress and prepare them for a successful trajectory. Because the early years of a child’s life are critical in brain development, it is vital for parents and providers to understand the available evidenced based practices, such as Applied Behavior Analysis, the appropriate service options and treatment settings available.
