The Washington Post (11/1) reported that “consumers should stop using all inclined” infant “sleepers – even models that have not been recalled – because of the risk of accidental suffocation,” regulators from the Consumer Product Safety Commission [CPSC] announced on November 1. According to the Post, “the American Academy of Pediatrics has said for several years that inclined sleepers are unsafe.” The AAP “recommends that babies sleep on a flat surface in a crib or bassinet.”
