Getting Acquainted

Upon Arrival
When your baby is born at an affiliated hospital, simply tell your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you have chosen Priority Pediatrics PC, the practice of Dr. Marc A. Tanenbaum, as your child's pediatrician. Our office will be notified of your baby's birth by the hospital staff. On occasion, however, we do not get notified by the hospital until you go home. If you would like us to visit the baby in the hospital, please call our main number,

, or Dr. Tanenbaum directly, if he has shared his direct number with you previously, to make these arrangements. Upon discharge, please contact our practice about scheduling your baby's first home visit by Dr. T.
This first visit is usually by the fourth or fifth day of life, unless the nursery doctor or staff have advised you otherwise
