Podiatrist in New Braunfels, TX Dr. Brandon James was born and raised in Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and he graduated from Scholl College/Chicago Medical School with his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. Subsequently, he completed his foot and ankle reconstructive and trauma surgical residency and served as chief resident at Oakwood Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, Michigan. After completing residency he and his wife, Dr. Sarah James, moved to New Braunfels to open their practice, Foot and Ankle Surgery of New Braunfels. With a conservative and surgical approach centered on patient education and understanding, Dr. Brandon James actively works to get his patients back on their feet as quickly as possible.

“Although I am surgically trained, I believe that surgical correction is not always the answer. During your initial evaluation, I will review the causes and treatment options for your problem, thoroughly review your x-rays, and take time to answer any questions. It is my goal to handle each patient encounter as ethical as possible with patience, empathy, and individualized care... No two patients are alike!”

Dr. Brandon James is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is Board Qualified in Foot Surgery, Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, which are recognized by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Brandon James enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Sarah James, their daughter Jacquelyn and son, Christian. In his spare time, he also enjoys fishing, working out, and being outdoors.

She completed her foot and ankle reconstruction, diabetic limb salvage and wound care residency at St.John Providence in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Sarah James is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She is also Board Qualified in Foot Surgery, Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, which are  recognized by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is also a member of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.
