COVID-19 Safety Precautions

GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND TO KEEP YOU SAFE

While COVID-19 has changed many things, one thing has remained the same-our commitment to your safety.

SCAWe have installed seven state-of-the-art Surgically Clean Air units, which have a 6-stage purification process to capture and destroy 99% of airborne particles, including allergens, bacteria, and most importantly, viruses.  This advanced air treatment provides a level of purification far beyond OSHA standards.

Aerosol-Collection-unitNewly added aerosol collection units are being utilized in all 9 of our treatment rooms.  These units capture any aerosols created during dental procedures and ensure bacteria and viruses are not released into the air.  In addition, our HVAC system now has medical grade HEPA filters to enhance the quality of air in the office.

PPEAll clinical team members are wearing high standard PPE, and all front office team members are wearing masks.  All "touch surfaces" are being wiped with disinfectant throughout the day.

PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

We have been updating protocols and procedures continually to follow the latest CDC and OSHA requirements, and we're finally able to open our reception room!

  • We will send out a COVID-19 symptom questionnaire via text to be filled out prior to your appointment.
  • When you come to an appointment, you no longer have to call from the parking lot and can come right in.
  • All patients are required to wear masks when entering the office regardless of vaccination status.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
