Virtual Visits

While we love it when you visit in the office, we understand that it's not always convenient to do so. All locations are now offering secure video visits to their established patients via our patient portal Follow My Health.  Video visits are a convenient, secure way to video chat with your Western Wayne doctor using your computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. Video visits allow you a worry free way to see someone in bad weather, if you can't leave work or do not have a ride to the office. Just connect via desktop/laptop with a camera, tablet or smartphone and your provider will be waiting to see you.

2. Eye Infections
3. Sinus Problems
4. Vomiting and Diarrhea
5. Chronic Pain Follow-up
6. Medication Questions or Refills

How it Works:

1. Schedule appointment: 
   1. Schedule your virtual visit directly with our front desk staff
2. Confirm your information:
3. 1. Check you email or text messages to log into your Follow My Health Account and confirm your information
4. Have your device ready: 
   1. Use either a computer, tablet or smartphone to conduct your visit.  Be sure to allow both the camera and microphone access to the application
5. Check your internet connection:
   1. At the time of your appointment, Wi-Fi or a wired connection is strongly preferred for a great video visit experience
6. Payment for the visit: 
   1. We will bill your insurance first and you will only be charged if your insurance company decides not to pay the claim. 
7. Privacy and security:
8. 1. The technology for your video visit uses bank-grade encryption to protect your personal information
9. See your provider: 
   1. Log in 15 minutes before your video visit and be prepared with questions
10. 
    

Tips for a great video visit:

1. Check internet connection:
2. 1. Wi-Fi or a wired connection is strongly preferred for a great video visit experience
3. Use Headphones:
   1. Cut down on any background noise and help keep the conversation with your doctor private
4. Hold tight:
   1. Sometimes we run a few minutes behind, just like in the office.
