As a native Oregonian, Dr. Brant grew up in East Multnomah County.  He attended Oregon State University and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1990.  After graduation, Dr. Brant spent the first few years of his work experience in a group practice.  He was also an Associate Professor in the Dental Anatomy Department at OHSU’s School of Dentistry and has been a past member of the Alumni Board.  He has been in private practice for the past 25 years and remains active in study clubs and is a member of the Multnomah County Dental Society, theOregon Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.   Dr. Brant has also enjoyed participating in volunteer opportunities both locally and abroad through Mission of Mercy and Dental Volunteers for Israel.

Dr. Brant grew up in a “dental” family, with his mother as a dental assistant / receptionist planting the seeds of dentistry in all the children; his brother George also a dentist, and his sister Ann a dental hygienist.  Dr. Brant is married to his wife, Stephanie, and they have two grown, married daughters, Emily and Gabby.  The Brant family enjoys living in the Happy Valley area.  Dr. Brant is happy to spend time fly fishing, as well as hiking and camping around the Northwest.  He enjoys music, having played drums since his childhood, and is a sports enthusiast.
