Dr. David Williams is active in his community. He is past president of United Way of Northbrook and for the last 15 years has been a dental volunteer with El Niño Rey, an education and dental service organization based at St. Norbert Parish in Northbrook. Started by Father Matt Foley after he returned from 6 years service in Quecheltenango, Mexico, El Niño Rey sends 2 dental service teams to Guerrero, Mexico every year and treats patients in selected villages in the Sierra Madre Sur. It is truly a local organization that is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Chicago and is very dear to his heart.
Dr. Williams also volunteers with the Illinois State Dental Society Foundation's Mission of Mercy which provides free dental care to patients in various sites in Illinois.
