Our Dear Patients,
February is Children’s Oral Health Month, and we started it off strong with our second annual Give Kids a Smile Day last Saturday. Thank you to everyone who helped us spread the word to your schools and PTA committees, to your churches and organizations, and to your friends and family. I hope you popped onto our Instagram or Facebook (@FandHDentistry) to see us behind-the-scenes.
This year, we saw dozens of children – some had never been to the dentist and others were deathly afraid due to past experiences. We’re grateful to our volunteers and our team who went above and beyond for the kids! With two successful events under our belt, we look forward to hosting Give Kids a Smile Day again next year, in February 2024. I'll also be doing some videos on Instagram this month, focusing on children's oral health.
The next time you see us, you may notice a few new faces around here! Victoria, a dental hygienist, will be joining our team starting in March. Don’t worry – Kristen isn’t going anywhere! :) We are excited to have Victoria come on board to accommodate even more late evening appointments for our patients. (But remember: Those evening appointment slots are snatched up quickly, so please contact us soon if you prefer evenings!)
Additionally, we have had two dental assistants join our team, Melissa and Lisa. They each have many years of dental experience, and I have to say that it already feels like they’ve been with us forever!
