Doctor of Podiatric Medicine

Originally from Twin Falls, Idaho, Dr. Fiala received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then attended Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated residency from St. Joseph Medical Center, Houston, Texas in the world’s largest medical center.  While there, he received extensive training focused on surgery, wound care, pediatric foot and ankle, and general care of all foot and ankle conditions. Following residency, he practiced in Spring, Texas for seven years.  He and his wife Lauren have four children who keep them on their toes!

His training and experience allows him to treat everything foot and ankle related, including injuries, fractures of the foot and ankle, deformities of the foot and ankle, ligament/tendon injuries, flat feet, arthritis as well as bunions, hammertoes, dermatologic issues and diabetic foot and ankle concerns. He is available to see patients at his office in Kalispell.

Dr. Tyson Fiala's goal is always to address foot and ankle pathology with a conservative, non-surgical approach first, but understanding when surgery becomes a necessary treatment option. He strives to treat his  patients like family and ensure they receive the best, up-to-date care possible.

Dr. Fiala is thrilled to take over Step Ahead Foot and Ankle and call the Flathead Valley home. He looks forward to working with you.
