Dr. John Sartorio graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in May 1985. He completed a General Practice Residency at the Dayton, OH Veteran's Administration Medical Center June 30, 1986. The residency program provided advanced training in all disciplines of dentistry as well as rotations through Physical Medicine, General Surgery, Anesthesia and Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery and Clinics. Dr. Sartorio worked as an associate in a private practice and as a part time staff member at a rural dental/medical clinic from July 1986-August 1987. Since August of 1987 to present he has been in private practice in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Sartorio has completed over 200 hours of continuing education at the prestigious Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry. He has also completed an additional 400+ hours of continuing education across all disciplines of dentistry. Dr. Sartorio is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Sartorio resides in Mt. Lebanon, PA with his wife Jean and three children, Christie, Giovanna and Anthony and is a member of St. Bernard Parish.

I graduated from West Liberty State College in 1983 with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. I then completed my BS degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1984. I have worked in private practice, and also worked as a clinical instructor at the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene Department and Westmoreland County Community College Dental Hygiene program.

I am very active in the Western Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists' Association. I have been involved with organizing state and local dental hygiene meetings, continuing education courses and Special Olympics/Special Smiles program in Allegheny County.

Our office is on the cutting edge, with new equipment, modern sterilization techniques and we use the highest quality materials. Continuing education is a priority in our office. You will find our office to be very professional and at the same time, very relaxing.
