I am a Bay Area native who moved to Southern California for most of my schooling and training. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Biology with a minor in Psychology from UC San Diego and stayed to complete a Master's degree in Biology with a focus on researching transmission of HIV. During my Master's, I wrote a thesis on HIV proteins that are involved in transmission of the virus and also taught undergraduate biology lab courses. I have always had an interest in biology and helping others so I pursued my medical degree at the UC San Diego School of Medicine.
Caring for children has always been my passion so pediatrics was the perfect specialty for me. I completed my pediatrics residency training at Los Angeles General Medical Center/USC where I had the privilege of helping the most underserved population in Los Angeles County. I am now excited to return to the Bay Area to serve the children of the Tri-State area.
In my spare time, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and food with my fiancé, family, and friends. I also love to travel and look forward to exploring new places in the future.
