We enjoy serving the greater San Diego area, including 4S Ranch, Del Sur, Torrey Highlands and Carmel Valley, as well as Poway, Rancho Bernardo, Ramona, Rancho Penasquitos, Mira Mesa, Scripps Ranch and Rancho Santa Fe; patients also come to see us from as far away as Julian and Borrego Springs.
Prenatal Visits
We look forward to meeting expectant parents. All of our physicians and most of our staff members are also parents and we are sensitive to your concerns. Please schedule a prenatal visit so that you can meet the doctors and staff and see the office. These visits are free of charge and will allow us to answer your questions.

We do not require you to pre-register with our office for newborn care. Simply notify the labor and delivery staff when you arrive at the hospital that you would like our doctors to see the newborn and we will be happy to check the baby after the birth. After our evaluation, we will also help you to arrange for follow up in our office. If your baby is born at another local hospital but you are following up in our office, please ask the attending doctor to provide you with birth records for the initial visit.
The Initial Visit
Our friendly and caring staff will do whatever it takes to make every visit to our office a pleasant and relaxed experience. With all of the important information about our practice available on our website, you can feel confident that you and child are well-prepared for your first appointment. We also invite you to review our staff page in order to get to know our doctors and staff. We look forward to meeting you.
In order to help you, we accept the widest range of insurance plans, including self pay, private indemnity plans, PPO’s, HMO’s through the Children's Physicians Medical Group, Tri-West, Healthy Families, Medi-cal and Medi-cal managed care plans.
If you're preparing for your child's first visit, you can do a few things to help expedite the appointment. Please have the following information ready when you arrive for your visit:
- Insurance cards
- Complete immunization records
- Medical records from your previous pediatrician
