30 Years of Family Podiatric Care in North Texas
Family Foot Care was founded by Richard M. Adams, DPM in 1992 serving Granbury, Texas and surrounding areas. His mission was simple: provide families in the Granbury area with exceptional foot and ankle care. In 2017, the podiatry practice expanded when Payal R. Patel, DPM joined the Family Foot Care team.

Meet our Podiatrists

Richard M. Adams, DPM- Doctor -
Dr. Richard Adams originally started Family Foot Care in January of 1992. He has spent the last 28 years providing quality foot care to patients covering a wide geographical area southwest of Fort Worth.
Dr. Adams is certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery, is an associate member of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Adams has lectured nationally on topics including specialty surgical procedures and heel pain treatment. Dr. Adams and his family reside in Granbury, Texas.

Payal Patel, DPM- Doctor -
Dr. Payal Patel graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI with a B.S. in Biology. She went on to Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL where she received a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine.
She then completed a three-year residency at Beaumont Health – Farmington Hills in Michigan, where Dr. Patel had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident in her final year. While in residency, she received extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, advanced wound care, diabetic limb salvage, pediatrics and sports medicine.
She has also organized medical mission trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras as a part of Operation Footprint, a non-profit organization focused on treating children with complex lower extremity deformities.

LemeashaCertified Podiatric Medical Assistant
Lemeasha is a Certified Podiatric Medical Assistant and Radiology Tech. She assists the doctor with office surgeries and procedures and takes x-rays. She also aids with topical compounding prescriptions and laser therapy. Lemeasha has worked in the podiatry field for 14 years.

KimberlyAdministrative Assistant
Kimberly is our Administrative Assistant. She can assist in referrals for your insurance and make appointments. Additionally, she can answer questions about new patient information and accounting concerns. Kimberly has 19 years of experience with assisting patients and scheduling.

RobinAdministrative Assistant
Robin is our receptionist. She works in our front office making appointments and answering telephone calls. She can help with accounting and medical record requests. She is looking forward to meeting you at your appointment.

Sonya is a Medical Assistant and Administrative Assistant. She assists the doctors with procedures, takes x-rays, and answers questions for new patients. Sonya is looking forward to helping your appointment go smoothly.
