David Yoder, DDS and Marie Pucillo, DMD


Dr. YoderDr. David Yoder grew up in a small town in Indiana and then attended college at Butler University in Indianapolis. After working as a chemist for a few years, Dr. Yoder went back to graduate school at Indiana University and then went to dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Yoder worked in different locations around Jacksonville for several years before opening Palm Valley Family Dentistry in 2013.

Dr. Yoder is very active in continuing education, striving to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry and striving to provide the optimal treatment for his patients. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Jacksonville Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Guild of Dental Scholars. He is also does research with the University of Florida and the National Practice Based Research Network. He has done dental mission work in Jamaica and regularly volunteers in the community through the Love in Action Dental Clinic and St. Vincent’s mobile dental unit.

Dr. Yoder met his wife, Katie, while studying abroad in London during college. Katie is a Jacksonville native and a family physician with St. Vincent’s Primary Care. Drs. David and Katie Yoder are happy to call Ponte Vedra Beach home and enjoy life close to the beach with their two children – Ben and Lilly. When not enjoying time with his family, Dr. Yoder is an avid runner and triathlete. DY


Dr. Pucillo

Dr. Marie Pucillo grew up near Columbia, South Carolina, and studied Biochemistry at the University of Georgia. She attended dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina and was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship through the United States Air Force. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB), Nevada, and also served at Hill AFB, Utah. Dr. Pucillo and her husband relocated to Florida in 2017, and she has worked as a dentist in St. Augustine until joining Palm Valley Family Dentistry.

Dr. Pucillo is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. She is committed to lifelong learning, practices contemporary dental techniques, and values comprehensive oral health for an optimal patient experience.

Dr. Pucillo, her husband, Evan, and their two children-Elena and Giovanni, happily call Nocatee home. They enjoy going to the beach, riding bicycles, or exploring the trails in beautiful Northeast Florida. Dr. Pucillo’s favorite pastimes include soccer, tennis, hiking, snow skiing, traveling, and reading. She enjoys volunteering her time on issues of infant loss, domestic violence, and working with the Joseph B. Cross Foundation to help enrich the lives of adults living with special needs.
