Meet Our Doctor

Susan Oh DDS

Dr. Susan Oh earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City after attending University of Washington where she studied biochemistry for her Bachelor of Science degree. She gained experience in high-end cosmetic and reconstructive general dentistry while interning at The Center for Special Dentistry in New York, and went on to work in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dr. Oh believes in minimally invasive dentistry where the focus is on preventing dental disease and promoting oral health and maintenance of the patient’s dentition. She believes in involving the patient in treatment decisions through information and education.  Dentistry is her passion, and she considers herself very lucky to be doing what she loves and love what she's doing.

She is an active member in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Southern Alameda County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and Xi Psi Phi dental fraternity.

Dr. Oh was born in Chicago, but has lived in numerous cities including Ann Arbor, Seoul, Seattle, Portland, and New York. She is happy to be living in the beautiful Bay Area now, which is also her husband's hometown.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Oh enjoys spending time with family - her husband and two sons. She enjoys volunteering at her son's school, traveling, hiking, golfing, and simply exploring the numerous eateries and scenic areas the Bay Area has to offer.
