Kenneth Jae Yoon Kim, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Dr. Kim graduated from University of Michigan majoring in Cell Molecular Biology and Psychology for his bachelor’s degree. Then he went to Yonsei University, College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea for his medical degree. He trained in Kalamazoo Center for Medical Sciences, Michigan State University for his pediatric residency training. He has been a pediatrician in northern Virginia since 2009.

Dr. Kim is board certified by American Board of Pediatrics. He is also a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a community physician at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Dr. Kim enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, bicycling, and spending time with his family.

Silvia Yuen, DNP

Ms. Yuen studied psychology from Virginia Tech University earning bachelor's degree in 2013.  She later went on to receive her nursing degree from Marymount University in 2016.  For over 2 years, she had the opportunity to work at Children's National Hospital in Washington D.C. as a registered nurse in surgery, trauma, and burn unit to hone in her skills as  a nurse.   In 2018, she joined our team at Kenneth J Kim Pediatrics as an outpatient clinic nurse and also pursued Nurse Practitioner degree from Marymount University and graduated in 2022.  

 Ms. Yuen is certified as a nurse practitioner from American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She is licensed by the Virginia Board of Nursing and Board of Medicine.  She has earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in September of 2023.  

During her days off, she cherishes quality time with her husband and her one year old son.
