American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

The website of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeon (ACFAS) contains detailed brochures on common foot and ankle conditions and treatments. Many of the brochures contain useful diagrams illustrating the related condition or treatment. The ACFAS is a professional society of over 5,000 podiatric foot and ankle surgeons. The ACFAS’ goals are to promote the art and science of podiatric surgery, address the issues and concerns of the podiatric surgeon, and advance and improve standards of education and surgical skill.

American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society

The website of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) contains excellent brochures on common foot and ankle conditions, as well as comprehensive information on diabetic foot care. There is also a foot fitness section, as well as information on proper footwear.
