Dr. Radmila Samardzija

Associated Podiatrists, PA, of Kansas City welcomes Radmila Samardzija, DPM, to their staff. Dr. Samardzija received a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, then completed a podiatric surgical residency at John Stroger Hospital of Cook County/Advocate IL Masonic Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Samardzija is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Samardzija treats all conditions and injuries of the foot, with comprehensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including trauma, pediatrics, sports medicine, and limb salvage. She is on staff at Providence Medical Center, Belton Regional Medical Center, Select Specialy Hospital and Kindred Hospital.  Dr. Samardzija has opened satellite practice locatons in Belton, MO and Lansing, KS.  She is also on the board of the Missouri Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Samardzija has family roots in Kansas City, Kansas but is a transplant from Chicago, IL.  She loves going to the theater, trying new restaurants, and listening to Kansas City Jazz!  Her favorite spot in Kansas City is the City Market.

Dr. Kapil Dua - photo coming soon

Associated Podiatrists, PA of Kansas City welcomes Kapil Dua, DPM to their staff.  Dr. Dua graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology and Biopsychology form the University of Michigan in 2002 and completed his podiatric study at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Scinece in 2007.  Dr. Dua completed his podiatric surgical residency at John Stroer Hospital of Cook County/Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.  He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.  Since 2010, Dr. Dua has practiced podiatric surgery in South Chicago.  He has also worked at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center Chicago, specifically in the Mercy Center for Wound Management.

He is proficient in treating all foot and ankle pathologies including trauma, sports injureies, pediatric and geriatric conditions, diabetic foot care, limb salvage, and corrective sugeries for foot deformities.  Dr. Dua focuses on helping patients do wht they love and return to the activities they enjoy by providing compassionate and quality podiatric care.

Outside of work, Dr. Dua injoys spending time with his wife and daughter, tennis, running and gardening.  As much as he likes fitness, Dr. Dua loves good food, music and travel.

 


 

Dr. Daniel Shead - currently practicing Podiatry in Saipan

Daniel Shead, D.P.M. graduated valedictorian from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Chicago, IL.  He then completed a surgical residency at Thorek Hospital in Chicago, IL.  In 1995, he returned home to Kansas City, KS, to practice podiatry.  Dr. Shead graduated from Sumner Academy of Arts and Science, Kansas City, KS, in 1985 and Benedictine College, Atchison, KS, in 1989.  He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is certified as a Wound Care Specialist by the American Academy of Wound Management.

Dr. Shead worked at The Wound Care Center for over 17 years and continues to perform wound care in his private office.  He has lectured on wound care, biologics and biofilm to the KS Podiatric Medical Association.  He is currently on staff at Providence Medical Center, Shawnee Mission Medical Center, Heart of America Surgery Center, Select Specialty Hospital.  Dr. Shead treats all disorders of the foot including management of painful peripheral sensory neuropathies.

When not in the office, he enjoys travel, scuba, art galleries and museums.  He also enjoys time with his family and credits them for his sense of humor.

 

Dr. Donald Gentry - Retired 2017

Donald Gentry D.P.M. grew up in Kansas City, KS. After graduating from Turner High School, he attended Emporia State University where he earned his undergraduate degree in biological sciences. He then attended Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Gentry is board certified by the American Board of Lower Extremity Surgery.  Dr. Gentry is on staff at Providence Medical Center, Heart of America Surgery Center, and Select Specialty Hospital in Kansas City, KS.

Dr. Gentry is a Vietnam War veteran.  He enjoys racing, hunting, and fishing.  Dr. Gentry loves DIY projects; his most memorable project was building a dirt track race car.   He also keeps himself busy doting on his eleven grandchildren.
