Dr. Jan Katzen DDS is a board certified general dentist, focusing in cosmetic dentistry. Utilizing modern techniques and materials, Dr. Katzen offers complete dental services, including general dentistry, teeth whitening, veneers, Invisalign, crowns, bridges, root canals, and implant restorations.

A graduate of the  University of Maryland, Dr. Katzen received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2004. While attending dental school, Dr. Katzen organized free annual dental screenings for nursing home residents and was an active member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. Dr. Katzen went on to complete a general practice residency at the  Jackson Memorial Hospital  in Miami, FL, where he served as Chief Resident at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Following his residency, Dr. Katzen joined Finksburg Dental in 2005.

Committed to providing the highest quality of treatment, Dr. Katzen furthers his education by regularly attending continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry. He is Invisalign certified and stays current in modern dentistry methods and procedures.

A Baltimore native, Dr. Katzen resides in Reisterstown, MD with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Mia and Camden. In addition to traveling, Dr. Katzen enjoys basketball, golf, and softball. He is a lifelong fan of the Ravens, Orioles, and Terps.

Dr. Jung earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in University of Maryland, School of Dentistry and completed additional year of training in residency of Advanced Education of General Dentistry. During her residency, Dr. Jung gained knowledge and skills in various aspects of dentistry, including crowns, bridges, dentures, root canals and implant placements and restorations. Dr. Jung is committed to provide the highest quality of dental care and strives to create a comfortable environment for her patients. She spends time listening to patients’ concerns, explaining and educating to promote the best outcome of treatments. She enjoys traveling with her family and completing home projects.

Daniel Jones, DDS

Dentist in Finksburg, MD

Dr. Daniel Jones earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, graduating first in his class. He also completed University of Maryland’s prestigious oral surgery clerkship, learning advanced surgical procedures and providing comprehensive dental care to patients undergoing treatment for oral cancer.

After graduation, Dr. Jones completed a General Practice Residency at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center, providing oral healthcare for our nation’s veterans. There, he received advanced training in all disciplines of general dentistry, including complex extractions, crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, partials, dentures, dental implants, management of dental emergencies, and treatment of medically complex patients.

Dr. Jones loves getting to know each patient personally and working together with them to meet their oral health goals. He enjoys utilizing the latest technology and materials to provide compassionate, comfortable care for his patients.

Originally from Frostburg, MD, Dr. Jones and his wife Addie now live in Catonsville. He is very involved with his church, where he serves in the music ministry - with singing, trumpet, and guitar. An Eagle Scout, Dr. Jones also loves any activity which can be done outdoors. He can be found cheering for the Orioles, the Liberty Flames, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Vickie Stark, RDH

Vickie Stark graduated from Allegany College in Cumberland, MD with her Dental Hygiene degree in 1984. She was born and raised in Mt. Rainier, MDand, yes, that means she's a redskins fan! After Vickie and her husband, Chris, were married (going on 25 years), they lived in Laurel before moving to Carroll County in 1995. She has worked with Carroll County Dental Associates and Finksburg Dental since 1996.

Vickie and her husband have 5 beautiful children ranging from the ages of 22 to 13. Vickie and her family are very involved with their activities from basketball, lacrosse, baseball, dance, swimming...you name it, and they have probably done it! Vickie and Chris are parishioners of St John’s Catholic Church in Westminster, and their kids all attended St. John School. Vickie absolutely loves her career as a Registered Dental Hygienist. It allows her to provide a wonderful service to patients and she truly receive a great deal of satisfaction doing so.

Hollianne Draper, BS RDH

Holli is a “military brat” who traveled around the world by the time she was eight years old, living in Idaho, South Carolina, Germany, and Maryland. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2012 and later graduated Valedictorian and Magna Cum Laude with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Fortis College in 2016. Holli has worked in the dental field since 2009 with a background in both general dentistry and oral surgery. She joined our team in April 2017 and is dedicated to providing personalized, high quality care to her patients. She believes in providing a comfortable environment for her patients and treating them as she would treat members of her own family. Outside of dentistry, Holli enjoys baking, completing DIY projects with her husband, and escaping to their cabin in Western Maryland to enjoy the outdoors.

Jen Elligson, RDH

Jen is a Carroll County native, spending summers with her grandparents just down the road from the office. She graduated from Harrisburg Area Community College in 2018 with a Dental Hygiene Associates in Arts degree. She enjoys chatting with and getting to know her patients beyond their dental history and has a passion for patient education. Outside of the office she enjoys reading and is always open to a good book recommendation! She loves to spend time with her family, especially her nephew. She currently lives in Hampstead with her husband and newly adopted kittens, Thelma and Louise.

Michele Koerber, RDH

Michele is a Frederick County native who relocated to Carroll County in 2022. She earned her Associate Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Allegany College of Maryland in 2013. She then furthered her degree at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry obtaining her Bachelor of Science, Dental Hygiene in 2015. Michele joined the office in November 2023 and loves to improve and make a difference in the overall health of her patients. Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her husband and her dog, exercising, and reading.

Katelyn Frock, RDH

Katelyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA, in 2021. She has been practicing in the dental field since graduation and joined Finksburg Dental Associates in May 2025. As a Registered Dental Hygienist, Katelyn is passionate about providing high-quality care and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment for every patient. She values building strong relationships with patients and helping them feel confident in their oral health. Originally from Westminster, Maryland, Katelyn grew up in Littlestown, Pennsylvania, and recently purchased her first home in Hanover, PA. Outside the office, she enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends, helping with DIY projects around her house, fishing with her stepdad on the Chesapeake Bay, traveling, and spending time with her parents’ dogs.
