What's Happening At Haywood Pediatrics?

April is Allergy Awareness Month, a time to recognize and learn more about seasonal allergies that can affect many children this time of year. As flowers bloom and kids spend more time outdoors, it’s important to keep an eye out for common allergy symptoms.

Our team at Haywood Pediatrics is here to help your child stay healthy and enjoy all the fun that spring brings! 🌼💚

Families can now self-schedule appointments online using the links below!

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Appointments are Monday–Friday
  • Sick visits: Slots open 24 hours in advance for same-day or next-day scheduling.
    • These are for simple sick visits only (like cough, sore throat, or earache), with symptoms starting within the past 24 hours to 4 day
    • Sick appointments are reserved for quick sick visits only. They are not available for wellness check-ups, behavioral concerns, sports forms, or medication refills. These visits are limited to 10 minutes each.
  • Wellness visits (annual check-ups/ physicals): Offered with select providers and can be scheduled up to 365 days in advance.
    • Please confirm that it has been at least 1 year since your child’s last wellness visit—otherwise, insurance may not cover the appointment.
    • These appointments are for check-ups only and are NOT to be used for behavioral concerns or medication refills.
    • If you have extra questions or concerns you’d like to cover at your check-up, please give us a call before scheduling. This way, we can be sure to set aside enough time to talk through everything with you.
  • Scheduling more than one child? Book back-to-back times using each childs information.

How to book:

  • Click the links listed below based on what type of appointment you need to schedule (SICK VISIT or WELLNESS VISIT).
  • Select the provider & then select a time that is available.
  • Include your childs name, date of birth, and add a reason for visit note. (NOTES ARE REQUIRED & YOU CANNOT SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITHOUT ADDING ONE)
  • A verification code will be sent to the phone number we have on file for your child.
  • Once veritifcation is complete, your appointment will be confirmed!

FYI:

For scheduling, you may use our links, call our triage line, or stop by the office—whatever is most convenient for you.

Foster children can’t be scheduled online at this time. Please give our office a call, and one of our friendly staff members will be happy to help you set up an appointment!
