Beth G. Diamond, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Diamond was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland.  She attended the University of Maryland College Park, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in microbiology.  She received her M.D. from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, where she was awarded the Theodore E. Woodward Prize in Physical Diagnosis and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.  Dr. Diamond subsequently completed her internship and pediatric residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT and was then appointed Chief Resident and Associate Instructor in Pediatrics at the Yale University School of Medicine.  After, she completed her dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Dr. Diamond has been in private practice in dermatology in Annapolis since completing her dermatology residency.  She is a Fellow with the American Academy of Dermatology and has obtained board certification by the American Board of Dermatology.  Her areas of interest include general medical dermatology for both adults and children as well as dermatologic surgery.  She is a recipient of the Annapolis Top Doc Award and Chesapeake Family Favorite Doc Award.

Dr. Diamond currently resides in Potomac, MD with her husband, Blair, and their twins, Bryan and Lauren.  In her spare time, Dr. Diamond enjoys travel, theater, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.

Gail R. Goldstein, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Goldstein was born in California and grew up in Vienna, Virginia. She matriculated at The University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar. She stayed at UVA where she obtained a master’s degree in Medical Ethics. She then attended medical school at New York University, where she graduated with honors in molecular and cellular biology. Dr. Goldstein completed her medical training in dermatology at the University of Maryland and then joined the Annapolis Dermatology Center. Dr. Gail Goldstein practices both general and cosmetic dermatology and has lectured on subjects such as dermatological diseases of pregnancy, skin cancer prevention, the ethics of cosmetic surgery and medical volunteerism.

Dr. Goldstein has three wonderful daughters, Lena, Mimi, and Julia. Her husband Andrew is a gynecologist. Dr. Goldstein recently returned from a year of medical volunteering in South America and Southeast Asia with her family. Dr. Goldstein is the recipient of What’s Up Annapolis Top Doctor and Chesapeake Family’s Favorite Docs for Dermatology.

Krista K. Buckley, DO., F.A.A.D.

Christine D. Ambro, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Christine Ambro was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. She received her Bachelors of Science from Georgetown University. She graduated cum laude from the Jefferson Medical College, where she was also inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received, among other awards, the Hobart Amory Hare Award. After a medical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital (the oldest hospital in the country), Dr. Ambro completed her residency in dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where she was chief resident. Notably Dr. Ambro received training at the Sydney Melanoma Unit in Sydney, Australia. Dr. Ambro practices general and cosmetic dermatology as well as dermatologic surgery. Dr. Ambro is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Medical Association.

In her free time Dr. Ambro spends time with her three children and husband Bryan, who is a facial plastic surgeon in Annapolis, MD. She enjoys playing soccer, cooking and traveling.

Krista K. Buckley, DO., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Buckley was born and raised in York, Pennsylvania. She received her B. A. in Biology and English with High Honors from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania in 1995 where she was inducted into the honor society of Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Buckley then earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000.

Dr. Buckley completed a transitional internship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2001. She was a general medical officer at Camp Carroll, South Korea from 2001-2002. She returned to complete her dermatology residency at Brooke Army Medical Center and Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2005. Dr. Buckley served as Chief of Dermatology at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, North Carolina from 2005 to 2008. She joined Annapolis Dermatology Center in August 2008.

Dr. Buckley has published articles in dermatology and family medicine journals. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and DC Dermatological Society. Dr. Buckley is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. She practices general and cosmetic dermatology as well as dermatologic surgery. As current predictions are that one in five Americans will develop skin cancer, Dr. Buckley emphasizes the importance of skin cancer prevention and detection. She stresses the importance of periodic self-skin exams for everyone and routine skin exams by a dermatologist in patients with a history of skin cancer, numerous moles, or concerning skin lesions.

Dr. Buckley resides in Severna Park with her husband and four children. Her hobbies include running, cycling, swimming, and spending time with family.

Mark Eaton, M.D., F.A.A.D.

Dr. Eaton is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He was born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Kathleen, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and he received his M.D. from Mercer University School ofMedicine in Macon, Georgia.

Dr. Eaton completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Naval Medical Center San Diego in 2001. He was designated as a U.S. Naval Flight Surgeon at Naval Air Station Pensacola in 2002. His career in Flight Surgery included 6 years of service at Naval Support Activity, Souda Bay, Greece, and Naval Air Facility Washington, Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, including deployment to Iraq in 2006.

Dr. Eaton completed his dermatology residency at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda Maryland in 2010. He served as Department Head of Dermatology at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville Florida from 2010 to 2013, where he also served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology with the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. He joined Annapolis Dermatology Center in September 2013. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.

Dr. Eaton resides in Annapolis with his wife who is an attorney and Maryland native, and their two children. His hobbies include “Do it Yourself” projects, reading, and spending time with family.

Ali Damavandy, M.D.

Dr. Al Damavandy is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in skin cancer surgery including Mohs micrographic surgery and the subsequent reconstruction. He underwent rigorous fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatological oncology and procedural dermatology at one of the most prestigious programs in the country at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

He was accepted into the accelerated 7-year BA/MD program at the George Washington University, earning a bachelor of science degree in biology, summa cum laude, with a 4.0 GPA and graduating as the valedictorian of his medical school class. Dr. Damavandy completed his internship in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA and his residency in dermatology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Omega Alpha, and Gold Humanism Medical Honor Societies as well as the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American College of Mohs Surgery. He has served in national leadership positions for the field of dermatology, authored several manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals as well as book chapters, lectures nationally on the topics cutaneous oncology and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Damavandy is passionate about preventing and curing skin cancer in a gentle and compassionate manner. He is dedicated to helping his patients, educating them about their condition, and offering them world-class medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care.

Dr. Michelle Levender, MD, FAAD

Dr. Michelle Levender graduated summa cum laude as a Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in studio art and biology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2008 from the University of Maryland, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then went on to complete two years of residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, during which time she delivered over 400 babies and performed countless surgeries.

Despite a wonderful experience, she made the difficult decision to leave obstetrics and gynecology behind to pursue her passion for dermatology. She was granted a competitive one-year clinical research fellowship at the Center for Dermatology Research at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Dr. Levender went on to complete a rigorous residency program in dermatology at Columbia University in New York City. She then pursued fellowship training in Mohs and reconstructive surgery and laser and cosmetic dermatology, at the University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Levender has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles and several textbook chapters and has presented at meetings around the world. She is board certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and of the American College of Mohs Surgery and is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Levender specializes in both dermatologic and Mohs surgery, including the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, the surgical management of skin lesions and the treatment and revision of scars, as well as in cosmetic dermatology including laser treatments, botulinum toxin injections (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport), dermal fillers (Juvederm, Voluma, Restylane, Belotero, Sculptra) and Kybella for treatment of submental fullness (double chin).

Dr. Levender grew up in Columbia, Maryland, and is delighted to be back in her hometown and serving her community. Dr. Levender cares for patients at DermAssociates Rockville, DermAssociates Silver Spring, and Annapolis Dermatology Center, now a part of U.S. Dermatology Partners.

Dr. Bailey was born and raised in southern California. Dr. Bailey is Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Bailey completed her undergraduate studies at Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with distinction. She received her M.D. degree from the University of Iowa where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and received the Opal & John Sebulin Award and the Liselotte Gurau Memorial Scholarship. Dr. Bailey completed her Dermatology Residency at the University of Cincinnati in 1989 where she was chief resident. Dr. Bailey has published articles in peer-reviewed literature, written a chapter in Clinical Dermatology and lectured on various skin topics.

Dr. Bailey founded the Annapolis Dermatology Center in 1991. She retired from the Annapolis Dermatology Center in September 2015. She now lives in Florida where she practices dermatology at the High Tide Dermatology Center, located in the Olympia Medical Park at 2350 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Suite 301, Naples FL 34109. Michael J. Yablonsky, M.D.

Michael J. Yablonsky, M.D.

Dr. Michael Yablonsky is a Board-Certified Dermatologist & Fellowship-Trained Mohs Surgeon treating patients in Fairfax, Virginia, Centreville, Virginia, and Annapolis, Maryland.

Dr. Yablonsky is a highly skilled and experienced Mohs surgeon. After completing his undergraduate education at Brown University, Dr. Yablonsky earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. Dr. Yablonsky’s Mohs fellowship training took place at Mystic Valley Dermatology Associates in Stoneham, MA.

Dr. Yablonsky is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons (FACMS), and the American Society for Dermatological Surgery (FASDS).

Outside of work, Dr. Yablonsky enjoys staying fit, gardening, reading and spending time with his wife and three children.
