What is HydraFacial?
HydraFacial™ is a NEW breakthrough in aesthetic technology. It takes its name from the root word hydrate; “to cause to take up moisture”. The HydraFacial treatment puts moisture back into the skin after the resurfacing process. Dead skin cells are removed along with epidermal impurities then bathes the new skin in cleansing, hydrating and moisturizing solutions. How long does the treatment take?
Is there any downtime or pain?
The treatment is a fast, efficient treatment that takes as little as 15 minutes. There is no discomfort during the procedure – it is often described as feeling like a “cool paintbrush moving slowly over the face”. You make put on make-up and return to your normal activities right after the treatment since there is no downtime.
What results may be expected? How many treatments are needed to see results? How long do the results last?
Many people report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last for five to seven days or even longer. A series of six treatments, one treatment each week, is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and oily/acne-prone skin. After your first series of treatments, you may want to maintain your results with a Hydra-Facial treatment every two to four weeks.
