James A Roos

Dr. James A. Roos graduated from The Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1981. He has been in private practice in Smyrna, GA since 1982.

Dr. Roos is a member in good standing with the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Hinman Dental Society. He is an Honorable Fellow in the Georgia Dental Association and has been inducted into the International College of Dentists, the American College of Dentist, the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and the Georgia Academy of Dental Practice.

Continuing education is a primary goal for Dr. Roos' practice. He is involved with several dental study groups and strives to keep up with the latest treatment and techniques in dentistry. He and the staff members attend several continuing education courses each year.

Dr. Roos has been a member of the Smyrna community since 1982. He and his wife Liz are happily married and have three children, David, Matthew and Marley.

Sophie - Office manager

Sophie graduated from Campbell High School in 1980. She began working for Dr. Roos in 1983 as a chairside assistant. Over the past 13 years Sophie has been our office manager. She is very knowledgable in dentistry, dental insurance, scheduling appointments and assisting patients with their dental questions and concerns. Sophie loves working with Dr. Roos and his outstanding staff along with all our wonderful patients that are more like friends and family to her. Sophie has been happily marrried for 28 years and has two children, Morgan and Ross.

Kathy - Dental hygienist

Kathy has been providing quality dental hygiene for Dr. Roos' patients since 1985. She is very experienced and her personality and excellent dental skills are comforting to her very loyal patients.

Donna - Dental hygienist

Donna graduated from Paulding County High School in 1982 and recieved her Associate of Science in dental hygiene from Georgia Perimeter College in 1989. She and her husband reside in Paulding County and have one child, Bailey. Donna has worked for Dr. Roos for more than 10 years and enjoys being part of an experienced and caring dental team. Providing a warm and friendly enviornment for our dental family is a daily goal.

Licia - Dental assistant

Licia graduated fom R.L. Osborne High School in 1986. She is married with two children, ages 15 and 16. Licia has been Dr. Roos' chairside assistant for 23 years. She is highly skilled in her profession and greatly enjoys the relationships she has formed with her patients.

Mary - Dental assistant

Mary graduated from la Habra High School in Anaheim, California in 2002. She then attended Bryman college where she recieved her certification for dental assisting. She is married and has 2 wonderful boys. Mary has worked for Dr Roos for 6 years and has five years prior chairside assisting experience. Mary enjoys making our patients feel as comfortable as possible with a cheerful smile and warm heart. Mary's Hispanic origin is a great attribute in helping our spanish speaking patients
