Dr. Nirav Patel was raised in Georgia, where he attended University of Georgia to pursue his Bachelor's degree in Microbiology. He then attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida, where he obtained his Doctorate degree. Upon graduation, he completed a prestigious and rigorous four-year surgical residency at University of Pennsylvania - Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, focusing on all aspects of foot and ankle pathology, trauma and reconstruction.
Dr. Patel has extensive training and surgical experience in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology. He received training in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine including ankle arthroscopy and tendon/ligament reconstruction, trauma, arthritis, treatment of diabetic infections with limb salvage, and advanced wound care. Dr. Patel is board qualified in both Forefoot and Rearfoot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Patel is affiliated with CJW Medical Center (Chippenham and Johnston Willis Hospitals) and St. Francis Medical Center. He enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor adventures, traveling and playing sports when he’s not working.
