Dr. Kristen Kemmer, DDS

Dr. Kristen Kemmer is excited to welcome you to our Healthy Life Dentistry Family. At Healthy Life Dentistry we pride ourselves on building relationships with our patients - tailoring recommendations to their own specific needs. We enjoy serving with compassion and integrity; our goal is that every visit feels informative, friendly, and comfortable.

Born and raised in Bay City, Michigan, Dr. Kristen received her Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry at Saginaw Valley State University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

After graduation, she completed a year of advanced training at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Dr. Kristen loves to learn and stay abreast with new treatment options and technologies. She has taken advanced courses to become an Invisalign orthodontics provider, and she was very fortunate to be able to attend courses at the highly sought after Scottsdale Center for Dentistry where she attended multiple continuing education courses.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the West Michigan District Dental Society, and continues her learning locally within the LD Pankey Study Club of West Michigan. She is excited to continue learning and bringing new services to our Healthy Life Dentistry family.

Being able to use her special gift of dentistry to serve others brings much joy to Dr. Kristen, as she actively seeks out different opportunities to do so. She has volunteered as a part of a dental mission trip to Honduras, has been able to participate in a program where thousands of underserved children receive free oral health services and has been a regular participant at the Michigan Dental Association's Mission of Mercy dental events.

Her giving goes beyond dentistry as she was a mentor to a girls youth soccer team during her time in California and has been involved with multiple food pantries both in California and West Michigan. She looks forward to getting more involved with the local community and finding ways to help those in need.

Dr. Kristen and her husband, Brandon Geyer, reside in Grand Rapids with their 1 year old daughter, Emma, and 12 year old lab-mix Shelby. On the weekends they can be found exploring the local neighborhoods and sampling all of the amazing food options the city has to offer. Enjoying nearly all sports, she especially loves soccer and played on the women's varsity soccer team in college. She also enjoys yoga, reading, and spending time with loved ones.

Dr. Kristen and team are committed to educating you about your oral healthcare and making you feel welcome in our office. She loves working with patients of all ages and cannot wait to serve you at Healthy Life Dentistry.
