Dr. Pirochta
Dr. Pirochta (Pir-rock’-ta) is a graduate of Owosso High School in Owosso, MI. He attended Albion College where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth. They graduated from Albion College in 1985. Dr. Pirochta received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1989. That same year, he also passed the dental board exams, married, moved to Grand Rapids, and began practicing dentistry.
In 1995, Dr. Pirochta received a post graduate degree in Esthetic Dentistry from Baylor University in Dallas, Texas and completed a mini residency in implant restorative dentistry. He takes countless hours of continuing dental education annually. Dr. Pirochta has been a sole practitioner for 30 years.
He has been happily married for 30 years and has two wonderful sons. Jamieson (Jamie), age 22, attends Hope College in Holland MI. Brother Cameron, age 21, attends Miami University in Oxford Ohio. Both sons graduated from Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids and are Eagle Scouts. Dr. Pirochta is a caring, kind hearted Christian, who is approachable, takes the time to listen to his patients, and always strives to exceed his patient’s expectations. Dr. Pirochta is sincerely concerned with his patient’s overall health and strives to partner with them in their healthcare.

Cory
Dental Assistant
Cory joined the family at Healthy Life Dentistry as a dental assistant in March of 2015. She attended Phoenix College while working for her father who was a dentist in Phoenix, Arizona. Cory moved to Michigan in 2012. "I found my dream job and dream team. I love the family atmosphere and the genuine care of our team". Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is caring for each patient's individual needs and making them feel at ease.
In her spare time, Cory finds that most of her joy comes from time spent with her beautiful three-year-old son. "Being a mother has been one of my most honored blessings!"
Alyssa
Registered Dental Assistant
Alyssa completed the dental assisting program at Grand Rapids Community College and has been with Healthy Life Dentistry since 2013. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, biking and spoiling her cat, Phoebe.
Vicki
Registered Dental Hygienist
Vicki has been with Dr. Pirochta for over 27 years. She has been a dental hygienist for over 42 years. "I am in a unique position as I share my time also with a periodontal specialty practice. I see many of the same patients in both practices."
Vicki enjoys educating and helping her patients "connect the dots" in their oral and overall health. Vicki has five daughters and three grandchildren. She enjoys spending her free time with them, taking exercise and/or watercolor classes. Vicki has also been booking the Wyoming Concerts in the Park since 2008.
Anne
Registered Dental Hygienist
Anne has been working with Dr. Pirochta since 1996. She graduated from Lansing community College with an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene and Davenport University with a Bachelors degree in Business. "I am blessed to be working with Dr. Pirochta and the rest of our team, and to build relationships with my patients as I care for them and help them to have healthy mouth's!" Anne strives to give every patient the very best care and attention and to ensure their comfort during their professional cleanings. Anne's faith and her family are very important to her. Anne and her husband, Mike, have five children and two grandchildren. Anne also enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking.
Jackie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Jackie graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with a dental hygiene degree in 1994. She also graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelors degree in Technical Education in 2010. Jackie joined team Pirochta in 2010. Jackie lives in Jenison with her husband, Steve. She and Steve have three children and four grandchildren. Jackie enjoys grandma time, exercising and loves car races.
Mallory
Treatment/Financial Coordinator
Mallory has been in the dental field for 12 years. She joined Dr. Pirochta's team in 2016. "Dr. Pirochta is an amazing dentist and treats every one of his patients and employees like family. The best part of my job is seeing how happy each and every one of our patients are when they leave the office. As soon as I started working here, I knew I was home!"
Before moving to Grand Rapids, Mallory received her associate's degree at Mott College and attended U of M Flint. Mallory feels blessed to have married the man of her dreams, Joel. They just welcomed their first baby, daughter Thea, and are loving every second of parenthood. Outside of the office, Mallory enjoys spending time with her family and friends outdoors, camping, playing volleyball and gardening.
Cinda
Scheduling Coordinator
Cinda joined it healthy life dentistry in 2012. "it is a pleasure to be a part of this extraordinary, state of the art dental team." Cinda has been in the dental health profession for many years since graduating GRCC as a certified dental assistant and Ferris State University School of Allied Health Education. "I admire the care in the commitment I see Dr. Pirochta and our team provide to each of our patients. I enjoy developing relationships with our patients that will create a confident and comfortable environment for each person when choosing their dental care." Cinda spends her spare time with her husband Larry, three children and seven fantastic grandchildren. She enjoys golf, quilting, and reading. She and Larry are addicted Pickleball players!
