  • Ricardo Rodriguez, MD, FACG
    Doctor

    Dr. Ricardo Esteban Rodriguez was born in Cuba and moved to the United States as a young child.  He graduated from Columbia College, Columbia University. He received his medical school degree from UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School. He completed his residency and gastroenterology specialty training at St Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital Center/Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, in New York City.

    He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  Dr. Rodriguez has followed his father’s (Dr Ricardo M Rodriguez) legacy of being committed to give the best, high quality care available to his patients.

    He is well known and respected in the community he serves in  Union County. He is regarded by his peers and patients alike as a caring physician of great integrity and dedication.

    He is highly experienced in the practice of endoscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic. His professional interests include colon cancer screening, biliary, liver and pancreas disorders, peptic ulcer disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

    Dr. Rodriguez has served over 9 years as the Vice President of the Medical Staff at Trinitas Regional Medical Center-RWJ/ Barnabas. In this capacity he has been a physician leader and a patient advocate.

    For 20 years he has served as the Medical Director of Garden State Endoscopy and Surgery Center. His stewardship has been instrumental in the Center’s ability to provide the highest level of medical care in a safe environment to the patients for all these years.

    Outside of New Jersey, Dr. Rodriguez has served as the Medical Director of Amazon Health Project, a Non- Profit Organization (NGO) for 10 years. As a volunteer physician he conducted medical missions, providing essential medical care to the people of the indigenous communities of the Peruvian Amazon basin.

    When not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends by the ocean.  I love music, art, soccer and the Yankees.

    Maria Soliman, PA-C has been a Physician Assistant since 2007. She completed her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University in 2007 and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
