About ClearCorrect
These clear aligners are worn over your upper and/or lower teeth to achieve a straighter smile without the need for traditional braces. This treatment is similar to Invisalign in that they both use clear, customized aligners that are designed to shift teeth over time to correct and improve your smile. With ClearCorrect there are three different treatment options to consider:
- Unlimited: Patients get as many aligners as is needed to get the results they want
- Limited 12: Patients are given 12 different sets of aligners
- Limited 6: Patients are given 6 different sets of aligners
The ClearCorrect Aligner System
ClearCorrect uses a four-phase system, in which each phase requires a new set of aligners. Each aligner is worn for about three weeks before being replaced. Aligners must be worn all day and night, only being removed when eating and drinking or to brush and floss your teeth.
What to Expect from ClearCorrect Treatment
As you continue throughout your ClearCorrect treatment you will start to see a gradual change in your smile. During your treatment, you will come in for regular checkups to make sure that everything is progressing as it should. Most patients come in every 4-6 weeks to make sure their smiles is progressing as it should with ClearCorrect aligners.
ClearCorrect Results
The length of treatment depends on what issues are being addressed and how severe they are. On average, treatment can last anywhere from one to two years. Adults, on average, see results in about one year, but it may only take a few months for them to achieve the desired results (for those dealing with more minor alignment issues).
