Microdermabrasions

Want more information about Microdermabrasion?

The Ultrapeel microdermabrasion systems are the most popular microdermabrasion devices among doctors and skin specialists in the United States. Microdermabrasion uses crystals to perform progressive abrasion of the skin. The crystals, called corundum, gently polish the skin.

A sterile handpiece is attached to a tubing system through which corundum crystals are propelled at a high speed across the skin’s surface, thus gently abrading the top layer of skin. The used crystals and dead cells are then vacuumed and directed into a waste bottle.

The final result is smooth, healthy, and glowing skin!

What is the Ultrapeel used for?

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Blemishes
  • Acne
  • Dull, congested skin
  • Dry, flaky skin
  • Oily skin
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun damage
  • Scars

Is the treatment comfortable?

Ultrapeel microdermabrasion treatments are very comfortable. Those with sensitive skin may experience a mild scratching sensation at the beginning of the treatment.

Will I experience any downtime?

Depending on the level of treatment you desire, a temporary light redness of the skin may appear at the end of the treatment, especially for sensitive skin types.

Microdermabrasion is often called the "lunchtime peel" because you can have a treatment and immediately resume normal activities. You may put on makeup following the treatment.
