Dr. Kuntal Pandit
Dr. Pandit is the owner of the Southside Family Dentistry. He purchased this practice from Dr. Bachofer in 2003.
Dr. Pandit is a native of India and has been in the U.S. since 1979. He obtained his MS in Microbiology from the University of Louisiana in 1984 and worked as a Food Microbiologist for ten years.
In 1992, he decided to change careers and started dental school at UAB School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Pandit continued with further training in Orthodontics and learned how to put on braces.
He volunteers with Share & Care Foundation, a non-profit organization providing medical and dental services here in the U.S. and in India. He is married and has two children.
