Jon D. Chadys, DMD

Dr. Jon D. Chadys has been offering competent and compassionate dental care to the community for over 20 years. He enjoys practicing dentistry with an emphasis on restorative, implant and cosmetic procedures. Dr. Chadys also enjoys treating children and has the utmost confidence that a patient of any age will leave with a smile.

Dr. Chadys received his doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston after earning a degree in Chemistry from Miami University of Ohio. He then completed a rigorous dental residency program at Park City Hospital prior to opening his practice in Monroe.

As a graduate of Tufts University's TMJ Residency Program, Dr. Chadys learned cutting edge techniques in the treatment of temporomandibular (jaw joint) disorders. He is a past clinical instructor at the University of Bridgeport's Fones School of Dental Hygiene and has also served on the State of CT Peer Review Committee.

Dr. Chadys is an active member of the American Dental Association as well as the Connecticut State Dental Association where he maintains a vigorous continuing education schedule. In the event of a mass disaster, he is affiliated with Connecticut's Disaster Identification Response Team, where his skills would be called upon if necessary.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chadys maintains a passion for flying, earning his private pilot certificate in 2004. He also leads an active, healthy lifestyle with a mix of swimming, hiking and just enjoying the great outdoors.

Wanda Lanzone, DMD

Dr. Wanda Lanzone has been skillfully practicing periodontics with care and compassion since 1991. Originally hailing from North Valley Stream, New York, Dr. Lanzone earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University and her degree in dentistry from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Lanzone was awarded the prestigious American Academy of Women Dentist's Award for Leadership.

Dr. Lanzone's postgraduate education included a general practice residency at Metropolitan Hospital in New York City. Her training included all aspects of general dentistry with a concentration in oral surgery and hospital dentistry. The residency was followed by five years of general dental practice in New York.

Eager to further her education, Dr. Lanzone earned her certificate in periodontics from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine. While holding the position of clinical instructor of periodontics at Columbia, Dr. Lanzone practiced her specialty in New Hyde Park, New York, prior to her family's move to Fairfield County in 1997. She has been affiliated with Dr. Chadys since 1998.

Presently, Dr. Lanzone is an active member of the Connecticut State Dental Association and the Bridgeport Dental Association, the Connecticut Society of Periodontists and the American Academy of Periodontology. She is also a clinical instructor at the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport.

Dr. Lanzone's interests outside of periodontics include gardening, swimming, hiking with her schnoodles, knitting and cooking new dishes to share with family and friends.
