Our newly renovated office is in the beautiful Haile Plantation Village Center in southwest Gainesville.  We offer extended hours to accommodate busy work and school schedules. We are open from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.

  • Deborah B. Sappington
    DDS, MSD

    Dr. Deborah Sappington has been creating beautiful smiles for more than 35 years. She has practiced orthodontics in Florida since moving to the state in 1989. She joined Aguirre Orthodontics in 1997, became the co-owner of the practice in 2002, and sole owner in 2011.

    Dr. Sappington's credentials include the following:

    • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology, Bryn Mawr College, 1976. (Degree conferred with honors)
    • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry, 1981. (#1 female graduate)
    • Elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, top 10% of graduating class, 1981.
    • General Practice Residency, Sinai Hospital of Detroit, 1981-1982.
    • General Practice Residency Attending, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, 1982-1984.
    • Orthodontics Specialty Certificate, Fairleigh Dickinson University, 1987.
