I have been going to Dr. Lawitts office for decades- The office is a pleasant and caring atmosphere from the moment you step through the door. They take you at the time you have the appointment, no sitting in the waiting room for an extended time. They are accommodating for emergencies and take the time to explain and prepare you for what your dental needs are. Dr. Lawitts and her staff offer a high degree of professionalism accompanied with the most kind and nurturing approach. As a child I hated going to the dentist, since I have been going to Dr. Lawitts I have never dreaded a dentist appointment. I have recommended their office to a number of people who have all been as satisfied as I am.

As a 65 year old, I have had a life-long fear of going to the dentist! Actually, for more than five decades I would have a full blown anxiety attack before every scheduled dentist appointment, that is until I switched dentists and became a patient of Dr. Lawitts. I am no longer paranoid and now have absolutely no psychological problem showing up for an appointment on time. I adore Dr. Lawitts! Her professionalism is matched by her warmth and caring chair-side manner. I can honestly say that I have never, ever, had a moment of pain while in her care and chair! Not only has she vastly improved my dental health she has literally saved me from having to one day remove my teeth each night before going to bed. I now have firm healthy gums and great looking teeth. For work related reasons I had to relocate away from Syracuse but I return often enough and always include an appointment with Dr. Lawitts on my visits, so much so that I have not even bothered to seek out a new dentist in Washington, DC where I now live. This is not only because I so appreciate Dr. Lawitts, and her wonderful staff, but equally because the cost of continuing as her patient is significantly less in cost than any dentist in the area where I now live. I can never thank Dr. Lawitts enough, and with that I would--and have--recommend her to others without a moment of hesitation or reservation!

I went to Dr. Lawitts and Yates for a few years during high school and college but once I moved away I had to switch. After moving a few times, I can say none of the dentists I have been to can compare. I decided I would commute over an hour to come back a dentist I trust! When I called to make my first appointment they remembered who I was and that is just one example of how wonderful they are! I am so glad I made the decision to come back!! THANK YOU!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lawitts for at least 15 years. She is simply the best. I have lived in many other cities and have never had a better experience. She has done amazing work with several problem areas I had, I know she has saved teeth that others would not have taken the time with, and would gone the more costly route of a crown. I had several dental issues going on when I first came to her and she worked miracles in my mouth! She is so very talented. When I lived elsewhere last year, another dentist was highly complementary of the work I had done, obviously a high complement coming from a peer. The energy in the office is also second to none. Everyone is kind, calm, patient and clearly that comes from the top! I do not have a fear of the dentist, but if anyone does, this is the place for you. They take great care to ensure you are comfortable and my proceedures have all been pain free! I have recommended several patients to Dr. Lawitts and get loads of thanks for doing so. The best in Syracuse for sure, and if I have to live away and it's within driving distance, I would come back for my work!

It is with pleasure that I review the dental practice of Drs. Karen Lawitts. My family began seeing Dr. Lawitts shortly after she opened her office over twenty years ago. I have come to trust her skill and meticulousness both in preventive dentistry and in any needed repair. Equally impressive are the office-wide policies of "gentle dentistry": our children actually looked forward to their appointments. And finally, though not least, hygienists and office staff are "on message" with competent, courteous and considerate client relations. Among our health-care practioners, Lawitts is by far the best-run office we visit.

I have been going to Dr. Lawitts' office for over 20 years---they helped me overcome my fear of the dentist's office! The entire staff is very friendly & professional. The reminders of appointments are very helpful & they are always willing to work with me on rescheduling appointments. I have had to call a couple of times after hours & they have always been receptive & willing to help. The office is also very willing to work on payment plans if needed.

I would highly recommend this dental office for anyone!

I have been going to Dr. Lawitts office for quite awhile now and I have always found everyone in the office friendly and respectful. The dentists are great as well as the office staff ,dental assistants and the dental hygienists. When I call the office they always have time for me and they always call and remind me of a appointment which is very helpful and kind. I highly recommended this office for all your dental needs.
