The Lipid Panel is a monthly series hosted live on the last Tuesday of each month at 8PM Eastern Standard Time. The webcast series features unique case discussions on a variety of topics in the field of lipidology, presented and discussed by a panel of expert faculty. On Tuesday, February 27th, Dr Ann Liebeskind will moderate the discussion on women's cardiovascular disease in menopause.
Foundation of the NLA Launches Campaign to Lower Cardiovascular Disease Rates

The Foundation of the National Lipid Association (FNLA) has launched a campaign, Take Health To Heart, to raise awareness and advocate for policy change to lower the incidence of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Webinars discussing this campaign and the impact of ASCVD can be found on the Take Health To Heart Website. These webinars are hosted by Dr Ann Liebeskind (VP of the Foundation of the NLA) and Dr Keith Ferdinand of Tulane University and interview world-renowned experts in ASCVD.

Dr Ann was honored to receive the Midwest Lipid Association's Chapter President Service Award at the National Lipid Association annual conference in Las Vegas in April 2018. She was also awarded the Fellow of the National Lipid Association honor at the meeting. Dr Ann is currently an officer of the MWLA and teaches the Foundations of Lipidology course for the National Lipid Association (NLA). She also serves as chair of the Website Committee for the NLA.
