Dear Beloved Patients and Families,

As I sit down to write this letter, my heart is filled with both nostalgia and excitement for the future. After many years of serving as your pediatrician, it is time for me to embark on a new adventure in life.

With mixed emotions, I announce my retirement from medical practice effective August 1, 2024.

Each of you has been an integral part of my journey as a pediatrician. From the first precious moments of welcoming your newborns into the world to supporting your children through the ups and downs of adolescence, it has been an absolute privilege to be a part of your lives. Your trust, your smiles, and your unwavering support have been the highlights of my career, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

As I reflect on the countless memories we have shared over the years, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude. Your children have taught me more than I could ever hope to teach them, and I am
humbled by the trust you have placed in me to care for your most precious treasures. Together, we have celebrated milestones, overcome challenges, and formed bonds that will last a lifetime.

While I am sad to bid farewell to each of you, I am also filled with joy as I embark on a new chapter in
my life. I am thrilled to share with you that I have recently become a grandparent myself! The arrival of
my precious granddaughter has brought immeasurable joy and love into my life, and I am eager to
embrace this new role with open arms.

I have been fortunate to have associates of the highest quality and character.  I leave knowing
that you will find a great pediatrician here who will provide your family the best of care.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for allowing me to be a part of your
journey. I also want to thank all of the physicians and staff at Johnson County Pediatrics for their support through the years. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your pediatrician. I wish you all continued health, happiness, and prosperity.

With warm regards and heartfelt gratitude,
Mary Tyson, MD
