Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there is a lot of uncertainty in the world. We are practicing the safety guidelines with all the necessary PPEs (gloves, masks, and shields) and social distancing. We are also taking your temperature when you check-in. Please wear a mask upon entering our office. There will be longer waiting periods between appointments. If you presently have any cough, fever, cold symptoms, body ache, and traveled abroad in the last 14 days, please let JoVonne know when you check-in. We are here to take care of our patients and staff in the safest way possible.

  • Dr.
    Steven Sakata

    Dr. Steven Sakata attended the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. He is currently an active member of the Spear Innovative Continuing Education Study Club, American Dental Association, delegate to the Hawaii Dental Association, and past president of the Hawaii County Dental Society. He has also attended the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He has a keen interest in photography and enjoyed being involved with the Hilo Junior Tennis Club for many years.
